District 1 Championships Schedule and Results

The Road to Williamsport, PA and the 2017 Little League World Series begins Friday July 7 in High Park, Toronto for the Ancaster Diamondbacks. Schedules and Results for the District 1 Championships can be found on this link, and will be updated as the tournament continues.

Update- Ancaster lost their first round game 12-0 to Oakville, up next is the loser of Dundas-High Park, Ancaster plays Sunday at 2 pm

Update 2- Ancaster knocked out Dundas 11-1. Now they move on to face Stoney Creek Monday night at 8 pm. Sweetest words in baseball- See you Tomorrow Night. Try and do it all again. #webackthedbacks

Update 3- Ancaster lost to Stoney Creek 10-0 and have now been eliminated from championship contention.

The Minor District 1 Championships get under way on July 14 in Ancaster, as the Diamondbacks look for a District 1 Championship and berth in the Provincial Tournament in Oakville, ON.

Update- July 17- Ancaster lost their opener to Stoney Creek 16-2, but rallied back to eliminate Oakville 5-4 in a tough, tight contest on Sunday afternoon. Next up is Dundas on Monday night. #webackthedbacks

Update- July 18- Ancaster defeated Dundas 16-0 to advance to the semi finals to face Stoney Creek. 7 pm, winner to the finals to take on High Park. #webackthedbacks

Update- July 19- Ancaster survived a bases loaded 1 out situation in the 5th inning, to advance past Stoney Creek in the District 1 Championships. The Diamondbacks have qualified for the finals against High Park. Game 1 is tomorrow night. Ancaster must win 2 in a row to advance to the Provincial Championships in Oakville. #webackthedbacks

Update- July 20- High Park defeats Ancaster, wins the title. Thank you to our wonderful volunteers for a great week at the park.

Game 2: 8:00 pm Oakville defeats Ancaster 12-0

Saturday July 8, 2017
Game 3: 12:00 pm High Park defeats Dundas 22-0
Game 4: 2:00 pm Oakville defeats Erindale 16-2

Sunday July 9, 2017
Game 5: 12:00 pm Stoney Creek defeats Erindale 7-6
Game 6: 2:00 pm Ancaster defeats Dundas 11-1

Game 7: 6:00 pm High Park defeats Oakville 8-4

High Park has won the District 1 Championship and will advance to the Provincial Tournament in Perth, ON.
