Little League Announces New Bat Regulations for 2018

New Bat regulations are coming into effect for the 2018. For any baseball players under the age of 12, you should use this page as a resource is you are planning a new bat purchase in the offseason.

All bats now must have the USA Baseball marking, and for Minor and Major Little League can be 2 and 5/8 inch barrel. All other bats will not be eligible for play in rep or houseleague play.

From "Please note that as of January 1, 2018, the new USA Baseball Bat Standard will be implemented. Little League-approved baseball bats that are approved for use for the 2017 season will no longer be acceptable for use in any Little League game or activity starting on January 1, 2018."

If you are playing in one our partner leagues (Softball- FMSA, PWSA, Grand Erie; OBA- COBA or HDBA)- please check bat restrictions with our partner leagues. This applies for T-Ball, Rookie Ball, Minor and Major houseleague and rep teams.
